Our story

Hey Friends!


The Flower Meadow is a you-pick flower farm, barnyard, and event space in Northeast Oklahoma, just a short 20 minute country drive from Tulsa, Broken Arrow, Bixby, and Jenks. Grant grew up on this farm, and now our family of six calls this place home. 

As parents of four kids who are very close in age, it was important and sometimes imperative to get out of the house to explore and reset our attitudes. Being in nature allows the kids to explore and wander which we found solved most problems. All of a sudden sibling rivalry was replaced with childhood wonder and giggles.

We wanted to create that same space for other families: a family friendly farm where kids can feed barnyard animals, imagine at the nature kitchen, discover favorite Oklahoma grown flowers and watch pollinators. I think parents enjoy their time here just as much and get to take home a beautiful bouquet as their souvenir from the farm.

As we are finishing our third You Pick flower season, we’re growing more than just flowers; we’re growing a community. From tulip season in March to dahlias in fall, and from story times to birthday parties and photography sessions, we love seeing families make memories that last.
